WHITE OAK
This wood is used primarily for the construction of furniture, flooring, architectural millwork, mouldings, doors, kitchen cabinets, paneling, barrel staves (tight cooperage) and caskets. White oak is impervious to liquids, and has been used extensively for ship timbers, barrels and casks.
